Roses

I admit I wasn’t a huge fan of roses when I was younger, opting for other flowers in bouquets or for special events. But with a large home garden in the PNW, I have fallen in love with roses and have dedicated space in our garden, as well as along the sidewalk out front for passersby.

Having roses has attracted unique spiders and bugs to the garden that I haven’t seen on any other plants, veggies or flowers… namely crab spiders and cool assassin bugs. I find roses to be a gorgeous addition to our diverse backyard habitat. While you might find better photos on the internet, all of these photos are taken in our garden of our exact plants.
